Handsome Set of (6) early 20th century French chairs, with an antiqued finish, the backs having an arched crest rail with etched scrolling tendrils, above five vertical spindles, centering a panel upholstered in cut velvet upholstery in a rose pattern on a cream ground, having square seats with conforming upholstery, rising on turned legs with reeded aprons and stretchers, terminating to toupie feet, (2) armchairs with upholstered arms 38"h x 23"w x 23"d, arms 25.5"h and seats 18.5"h, and (4) side chairs 35.5"h x 18"w x 18"d, seats 18"h.


Handsome Early 20th century French table, with an antiqued finish, having a square top (when closed) with reeded edge, over a molded apron, rising on turned baluster and block legs, joined by curving stretchers, terminating to pad feet, 30"h x 48"w x 48"d, having (4) 12"w leaves, fully extending to 30"h x 96"l x 48"w.

Handsome Early 20th century French marble top buffet, having an antiqued finish, the upper section having an arched pediment, centering a carved narcissus flanked by trailing vines of triangular leaves, surmounting a block front cornice rising on columns, fronting a backboard with beveled mirrors, over a shelf sheltering an arched mirror and carved corner fans, the lower case having a rectangular marble top above a conforming cabinet, with three frieze drawers and three doors, the center door having additional foliate craving, all the doors opening to compartments with fixed shelves, the whole rising on a plinth terminating to circular pad feet, 96.5"h x 61.5"w x 23"d, counter 37"h.

Worth the investment

I had to order this in an emergency. To put it in brief words, I live in a two level studio unit. My bedroom TV fell backwards off the bureau accidentally and down the stairs to its demise. Putting this together was no problem, instructions were thorough and easy. It came with several bars that connected together smoothly and an Allen key for the brackets and screws for the feet. I did one less horizontal bar on top and bottom so it could fit, which was great because with all of them on it was too long. However I ran into the difficulty of the horizontal bars popping out of the brackets during the last stages, but eventually got it done. I was also looking for a specific type of divider where I could adjust the feet so I could tuck it in between the dresser and banister. Glad I made this purchase.
