The Progress Pride Flag with the inclusion of the chevron, was designed in 2018 by artist Daniel Quasar. This updated version of the traditional rainbow flag aims to be more inclusive and represent the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community.

The flag includes the original six colors of the rainbow flag—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple—representing life, healing, sunlight, nature, harmony, and spirit, respectively. Additionally, it incorporates a chevron consisting of black, brown, light blue, pink, and white stripes.

Each color within the chevron has its own significance:

1. Black and brown stripes represent marginalized LGBTQ+ communities of color.
2. Light blue, pink, and white stripes represent transgender individuals, symbolizing the colors of the transgender pride flag.

The Progress Pride Flag emphasizes the importance of intersectionality and acknowledges the diverse experiences and identities within the LGBTQ+ community. It serves as a powerful symbol of solidarity, inclusivity, and progress in the ongoing fight for equality and acceptance.
