At true 1x magnification, the Flare 1x works like a red dot: both-eyes-open shooting, fast target transitions, and the same speed you expect at close range. But it adds capabilities a red dot can't match — the reticle stays visible with the illumination off, the horseshoe surround with MOA reference marks gives you holdover capability, and red/green illumination across 12 brightness settings (including night-vision-compatible levels) adapts to any lighting condition.

Athlon built the Flare 1x around a compact 3-inch, 9.78 oz package of aircraft-grade aluminum that's nitrogen purged, waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof. Smart power management shuts the unit off after 3 hours of inactivity and remembers your last setting. Capped windage and elevation turrets adjust at 1 MOA per click with reset-to-zero.
