Enter: The Conquering Chicken is The Gits' second, and final, full-length studio album. The Gits' vocalist, lyricist, and frontwoman, Mia Zapata, was murdered in Seattle during the few weeks they spent recording the album that summer of 1993. Produced by the band and longtime friend Scott Benson, Enter: The Conquering Chicken was released posthumously on C/Z Records in 1994.The Gits formed in 1986 at Antioch College in Ohio, and moved together to Seattle in 1989 as the world was taking notice of the local scene. Although their raucous, blues-infused punk, powered by Mia's indelible vocals, didn't quite fit the mold being cast by their Pacific Northwest peers, the band immediately found a tight foothold and strong following. Enter: The Conquering Chicken showcases The Gits at the peak of their powers. Captured at the end of a packed west coast tour, they were on fire. Creative, inspired, and driven by the promise of a new musical chapter you can hear in these recordings. Remixed by Jack Endino in 2003, Songs like "Bob (Cousin O.)," "Guilt Within Your Head," "Seaweed," "Sign of the Crab," "The Drinking Song," and Mia's jaw-dropping rendition of Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come" reveal a distinct evolution in direction following their successful 1992 debut album, Frenching The Bully."'Sign of the Crab' was the last song we created together as a band" says Bassist Matt Dresdner. "Based on Andy's diabolical composition and Mia's brilliant creepy lyrics, the music was punchy, complex, and full of a fun, twisted rage. The songs on Chicken provide just a glimpse of what we were onto."Remastered in 2024 by Jack Endino for Sub Pop Records, this long out-of-print Seattle punk centerpiece is available on colored vinyl with new artwork and liner notes by Tim Sommer who aptly riffs: "The Gits were an angry, inflamed slinky fully in tune with and tuned by the Bessie Patti Smith of her time, truly the only singer who could summon Joplin, Poly Styrene, Sam Cooke, Iggy Pop, and Ian MacKaye all in the same goddamn song." The Gits are pleased to finally present listeners with the definitive edition of this recording to celebrate a taste of where Mia and their band might have gone.

Quality
Color: Upgrade-apricot, Size: 16 Inch
Am not disappointed buying this bag it’s spacious all different type of pockets the zippers are so unique the thickness is everything to talk about . I used this for my work bag that I carry 5 days of the week with my uniform, shoes, water bottle, phone, tablet etc and it’s still leaves a lot more space the firmness and sturdiness is 100% ..So comfortable the padding on the back and the shoulder keeps you relaxed. This is value for your money , my coworker are so inlove with my backpack

Very functional and spacious!
Color: Upgrade-apricot, Size: 16 Inch
I wasn’t expecting to love this backpack as much as I do, but wow —it’s everything I wanted and more. The apricot color is soft and pretty without being too “girly,” and the fabric has a nice matte texture that feels durable yet lightweight. It doesn’t have a plasticky smell at all, just a clean, new bag scent right out of the packaging. The compartments are super well thought out. I can fit my 16-inch laptop, chargers, skincare pouch, and even a change of clothes without the bag looking bulky. The back padding is surprisingly comfy, especially during long airport days, and the straps don’t dig into my shoulders. It sits well on my carry-on handle, making it the perfect travel companion. If you’re into functionality and aesthetics, this is it.

One of my Favorite Blouses!
Color: Navy Blue, Size: Large, Color: Navy Blue, Size: Large
This is the perfect top when you want to have a little dressier look than a t shirt, but you still are dressing casual or you could even dress it up because the material is just so nice. . I bought my usual size which is large. It’s a little bit loose, which I like, but not oversized. It comes down to around mid rear end . It is a half sleeve or almost a half sleeve, so it covers the batwing area. It is a high crew neck, but not uncomfortable. It basically stays wrinkle, free almost all day long and after you wash it, it is ready to wear. Speaking of washing, the garment says to put in a separate bag and wash in the machine. I did not put it in a separate bag because I didn’t read the instructions, but I had no problem afterwards. It does say hang to drive which I always do anyway, and the blouse looks brand new after several washings. The top is very well-made, very department store like looking. I purchased two of them, the navy and the white. The white is a little sheer, but not too bad that you have to wear something underneath it because it is a loose fit, it looks put together. The price was great as I got it on a deal.

Super cute summer T-shirt!
Color: Black, Size: Small
Surprisingly cute! I thought it looked kinda neat and it turned out pretty great! I got a white one too! The fabric is cool and lightweight. It's different and I like that! It does wrinkle but no biggie. I was looking for a longer sleeve T-shirt and this exceeded my expectations!
