A gothic rainbow feels like something that shouldn’t exist—and yet does, quietly, in a darker corner of the sky.

Instead of bright, cheerful bands, its colors are deepened and muted, as if filtered through twilight. Crimson leans toward dried blood, orange burns like dying embers, yellow fades into gold. The greens are mossy and shadow-soaked, blues turn into storm-heavy indigo, and violet deepens into near-black, like bruised petals.

The sky around it isn’t clear and hopeful—it’s heavy with rolling clouds, charcoal and silver, lit faintly by a cold, distant light. Maybe there’s a hint of mist or drizzle, catching the colors in a way that makes them shimmer like stained glass in an abandoned cathedral.

There’s beauty, but it’s solemn. Not a promise of sunshine—more like a reminder of something eternal, mysterious, and slightly melancholic. A gothic rainbow doesn’t celebrate the storm ending; it lingers in the storm’s aftermath, where silence feels sacred and the world seems suspended between ruin and wonder.

 The yarn colourways will be variegated, speckled and tonals in a mixed colour palette.

1 × Yarn wrap

30 × 20g mini Skeins of yarn that will be individually wrapped & numbered in a mixed colour palette.

1 × 100g skein of Hand Dyed yarn

Set of Handmade stitch markers

1 × Scented candle

Sock/4ply (75% super wash merino, 25% Nylon)

400 metres/80 metres

Dk (Super Wash merino)

225 metres/42 metres

Please note:

It's hand dyed using Acid dyes.

Every effort has been made to ensure all dye has been rinsed but please note that some may remain and may cause bleeding. I always suggest hand wash only.
