Overview

The Saramonic VmicLink5 RX5 + TX5 is a portable camera-mountable UHF wireless microphone system that delivers premium, broadcast-quality sound — and it does most of the work for you. The system works flawlessly right out of the box. Just plug in the mics, turn on the power and go. Scanning to find the best channel and syncing the transmitter and receiver all happens automatically, so you get more time to concentrate on your shoot. If it detects potential interference, it automatically switches the frequencies for you. All of these features not only make the VmicLink5 HiFi simple to use but create the easiest possible workflow.

The VmicLink5 utilizes the 5.8GHz frequency range, which is much higher and less congested than 2.4GHz, UHF, and VHF. No other commercially available wireless systems work in the 5.8GHz range. Each unit gets 6 hours of power from included lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, so you won’t be wasting money on disposable batteries.

The included RX5 receiver weighs around half as much as most camera-mountable wireless receivers, so it won’t weigh you down. The receiver also features individual level controls for each transmitter and a headphone output enables real-time audio monitoring if your camera lacks a headphone output. Locking 1/8” (3.5mm) mini-plug and XLR output cables are both included so you can use the VmicLink5 with DSLRs, mirrorless, cinema, camcorders, recorders and professional video cameras.

The transmitters feature a locking 1/8” (3.5mm) microphone input and a dedicated line input that makes wirelessly capturing audio from an external source a snap. The TX transmitter also features a combination Power/Mute button which can be “locked” when in use to prevent accidental muting or powering off.

A custom molded carry case is also included, providing an easy way to transport the VmicLink5 or to provide even more protection when in a bag. Additionally, optional output cables (sold separately) are available, giving you unrivaled connectivity. They make it possible to connect the receiver to smartphones, tablets, computers, GoPro cameras and more.

  • Incredibly easy-to-use with plug-and-play operation, headphone monitor output in case your camera lacks a headphone jack, up to 6 hours of power from included lithium-ion rechargeable batteries
  • Perfect for DSLR, video cams and portable audio recorders for interviews, event videography, film dialog, field recording, broadcast TV and news gathering
  • Operates in 5.8GHz frequency range which is less congested than 2.4GHz, UHF and VHF, detects interference and automatically switches channels
  • Line-level audio inputs for getting audio from sound systems, smartphones, and more
  • Up to 98.4-foot (29.99m) operating distance

Perfectly fits what I needed for my espresso habit!
Color: Black&Silver
This Maestri House mini coffee scale is a great little tool for espresso and pour-over. The size is compact enough to fit under a portafilter or cup, and the 0.1g accuracy makes dialing in coffee much easier. I like the built-in timer, rechargeable USB-C battery, and clean black-and-silver look. It feels precise, practical, and easy to keep near the espresso machine. Great value for anyone who wants more consistent coffee.

Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance
Color: Black&Silver, Color: Black&Silver
Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included. Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some! This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them. That’s it that’s all
