Elegant and generous Hawkes Bay Chardonnay. Fresh green apple and stonefruit, soft quince and juicy citrus flavours complement a lemon edge and subtle toasted almond. Immediately appealing on the nose with summer peach, rockmelon, nougat, and roasted almond aromas. Overall, stone fruit dominate with an almond and brioche finish.

The 2024 season started with a cooler spring resulting in lower yields but leading to wines with excellent fruit concentration. A warm summer paired with cool nights towards the end of the ripening period, allowed for complex fruit flavours to develop as well as retaining freshness.

Fruit harvested from vineyards in the coastal Ngtarawa growing area has been gently pressed, and then clarified juice was fermented in both stainless tanks, and large 500L French oak barrels (puncheons) for subtle oak character and complexity. Overall time in barrel for this portion was 10 months to further give weight and subtle toasted almond and brioche richness.

70% of the blend went through malolactic fermentation, which provides a discerning softness and texture, as well as development of secondary aromas and flavours. Extended time on lees also helped to build palate weight and complexity to enhance the fresh fruit characters.

Produced from a selection of clones including Mendoza, Clones 15 and 6, has resulted in a delightful array of flavours – from ripe lemon and green apple and crisp stonefruit to toasted almond and spice.

Used Watch?
Color: Black/Gray/Digital
The watch is great but the watch had been worn. The protective film was removed and it was loose in the watch box and not on the plastic holder. I bought a new watch not a used one. Joe

My last Timex and why.
Color: Black/Gray/Digital, Color: Black/Gray/Digital
New edit. Upon further reflection, I’ve only had, a couple of exploratory years with Swatch excepted, Timex watches. My first one was when my mother replaced the Chicita Banana “tickity tock” sticker with a real Timex wind up watch before my first Cub Scout camp. In addition to many other Timex products, I’ve had these Ironman watches for the past 25+years. Usually the band wears out and can’t be replaced after three or four years. This particular watch fell apart less than six weeks old. It wasn’t hit by impact. It just came apart while I was driving down the road. I wonder if they’ve changed their manufacturing process. See photo for details. What is truly infuriating is that rather than replacing it, because it is truly a warranty issue, the told me to ship it to their offshore repair facility (which could take 3-5 months) and pay what might be half the value of the watch. Things happen, but the intentional friction they have created to avoid their obligations borders on malpractice and speaks to their indifference toward customer experience and subsequent lifetime value.

As expected
Color: Gray/Gray/Digital
Just an old school digital timex. Tried and true. Has both 12hr and 24hr function on the time setting. Has a standard stop watch and timer. The battery is great, just as it always is on a timex. Good water resistance and very easy to use. Overall very good watch for the price!
