18K Gold Signature Whistle with Diamond Studded Line

A signature piece from Kirsten’s Corner, this fully functional whistle is rendered in 18k gold, fashioned after a classic cylindrical English whistle form from the turn of the 20th century. Down the center of the whistle, a line of 10 tiny diamonds are held in a shared bead setting; the setting was treated with a black rhodium that makes the diamonds pop. For a lovely addition, a pearl peaks through the half-moon cut out where air escapes the whistle—the pearl is part of the functionality of the piece, while also being adorable. The whistle has a nice high pitch and could be used as a dog or safety whistle; it is also a beautiful and edgy piece of jewelry. We love when jewelry has a function, and this piece is part of a long line of classic, functional jewelry that came before it. 

Because we manufacture this piece ourselves, we are able to customize it just for you. We are able to add an engraving or switch out the diamonds for rubies, emeralds, sapphires—or whatever your heart desires. 

The whistle features 10 diamonds that measure 1 mm each for a TCW of 0.10 carats. The diamonds are G-H in color and VS2 in clarity. 

The whistle weighs 5 grams. It measures 1” x 1/4”, plus an additional 7 mm bail. Marked as 18k.
