After winning several awards including the British Ring Ditta Shield and 2nd place manipulation at FISM, Ron MacMillan made his name performing his manipulation act across Europe and the US in the 1960s. He established the International Magic Shop in central London in the early 60s, which is still operating today, 50 years later, and run by his son Martin and daughter Georgia. Ron also founded the International Magic Convention in 1972, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2011 and over the years has attracted the best names in magic together for a weekend in London.Sadly Ron passed away in January 2005 but his legacy lives on through both the Magic Shop and the convention, still affectionately known as "Ron's". We hope you will enjoy his lecture and performance pieces on this DVD.
DVD Info:
This lecture was recorded live in Espinho, Portugal in 1991 with a brief Portuguese translation.
The lecture focuses on the "The Art of Stealing" - where you'll see all the loads begin prepared and then the steals taking place as Ron explains each sequence of his routine.
As well as demonstrations and explanation on Ron's manipulation sleights there's many other hints and tips that any student of manipulation will enjoy.
Here Ron proves that you do not need many sleights to perform an act, but a well learnt routine and good presentation make even the tiniest object visible on the largest stage.
Following the lecture, you'll see a live performance of Ron's Act performed in the Gala show later that day.
Additionally we have included a gala show performance taken from Norway in c. 1979 and nostalgic piece of converted cine film silent footage recorded by Lewis Ganson in the mid 1960s.
Running Time Approximately: 53min

Fits Magic Keyboard Perfectly
Size: Keyboard Wrist Rest (Pack of 1), Style: Slim
This is exactly the length of the Magic Keyboard and it is low to the ground. I did buy a thing that angles the Magic Keyboard slightly upwards in the back so it has a small angle and then I have this wrist rest. It is wonderful. I am so glad after all the digging and looking I found this one and bought it. I took it out of the box and didn't remove the paper on the back to make sure I liked it. I do, I love it. It is not only comfortable, it looks sleek, fits exactly and I don't get sore after hours upon hours of typing. The quality is good. I have zero complaints and feel lucky this is the first one I chose as it hit the mark.

Comfortable Wrist Rest for larger laptops.
Size: Keyboard Wrist Rest (Pack of 1), Style: Mechanical & Gaming
I bought this to use with my new 17 inch MSI gaming laptop. I was getting a very sore wrist as the laptop is pretty tall. This is tall enough that it is preventing the strain on the wrist. It is comfortable and not too hard, but firm enough to support my wrists. It is long enough to fit the entire length of my laptop without being too long. The curved shape puts the extra padding on the left side where I use it most for the WASD keys, but also gives me padding on the right for when I am typing and need it there also. It has a strong durable feel to it, but is smooth and soft. The bottom is shiny and rubbery and grips my lapdesk so that it does not slip and stays right where I place it. It appears to be well constructed, and considering the price, I would expect nothing less.
I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a large laptop or gaming keyboard.

Sleek looking and feeling wrist rest
Size: Keyboard Wrist Rest (Pack of 1), Style: Slim
5 Year Update: it finally had a tear on the corner and you can feel the gooey adhesive-like gel peak its way out. Not exactly sure how it happened. Could be my sharp nails or i may have grazed it with a box cutter while opening some packages. Keep sharp objects away from the pad! For now, i've put some clear tape over it to see how that holds. Still very useable.
I got the slim one and it looks and feels great. It has a classy executive look to it and my wrists glide easily across it which is surprising since it's made out of some kind of vinyl/rubbery texture. It has a leather grain on it which actually feels similar to faux-leather. It looks as if it would be very easy to clean off if you get dirt and oil on it.
That being said, my 3 caveats are:
1) it needs to be about 1 cm wider for full coverage on a standard 101 keyboard
2) I wish the size of the pad was the same all throughout the length, so that the wrist will have more to rest on when using the numpad
3) It could be squishier/ be more cushiony. It's actually quite stiff for a gel pad. It feels almost like you're resting your wrist on a leather bound book but with a thin layer of padding on it. This could be because its the slim version since there is less gel material. I would imagine the regular thickness version will be better cushioned.
Overall, its a great pad and would fit right in on an executive desk because its understated and has a very leathery look and feel to it. Much classier than most gaming focused wrist rests and the price is right.
