Protection - FlexMotion Design w/ D30® Smart Material: To ensure proper coverage with a highly mobile fit, the XF goalie pants are built with breathable stretch zones throughout the groin, inner thighs, and rear quarters. Comprising the groin blocks, reactive, D3O® Smart Material hardens on impact, while remaining more pliable at rest.
- Contoured Padding w/ Molded Impact Protection: High and low density impact foams contour around the waist and hips, ensuring complete coverage with a more ergonomic, form fit.
- Adjustable Thigh Padding: The XF goalie pants ship with double-layered inner thigh padding and molded HD foam padding the top of thighs. For further personalization, the inner thigh blocks and HD outer can be easily removed with Velcro attachment.

Construction & Fit - Abrasion-Resistant 420 Denier Nylon: A highly durable synthetic fabric, with integrated stretch zones to maintain complete coverage without restricting mobility.
- Max Flex Fit w/ Fit+ Inner Belt System: Designed to sit more snug at the waist, with a wider, more open fit, through the rest of the pant; CCM's Max Flex construction allows the XF goalie pants to better move and flex with the goalie. An AER-TEC mesh padded inner belt helps to ensure a proper fit, with added adjustability to accommodate a variety of fit, mobility, and chest protector tuck preferences.
- Extendable Waist: A built-in zipper, hidden below the outer belt, allows the XF goalie pants to be extended in length by 1".

Breathability - High-Flow AER-TEC Mesh: CCM's ventilated, AER-TEC mesh, lines the XF goalie pants to help keep cool and offer a lightweight, padded feel.
- AER-TEC Spine: A high density spine padding, molded into a wide lattice to help ventilate heat through the AER-TEC mesh pant lining, and out the spine.

Fits well and installs easily.

This filter looked about the same as the OEM filter. It installed in about a minute. The quality appeared to be fine. It was protected in a cardboard box. It fit my 2014 Subaru Outback perfectly. I just installed it an hour ago so I don’t have any long term observations about longevity or effectiveness. I can’t see any reason why it would not work as well as the original, it seemed identical.
