Hawkshead Central Otago Pinot Gris 2014"The Gibbston Valley is a delightful place, and in addition to its beauty, it has been producing some amazing Pinot Noir in recent years. But with a fickle climate, most people have a second or third string to their bows. In the case of Hawkshead, the extra string is Pinot Gris. And what a backup it has proved to be, being judged the only five star wine in our Pinot Gris tasting. All three judges gave the wine rave reviews. Ant said it was fleshy,

"The Gibbston Valley is a delightful place, and in addition to its beauty, it has been producing some amazing Pinot Noir in recent years. But with a fickle climate, most people have a second or third string to their bows. In the case of Hawkshead, the extra string is Pinot Gris. And what a backup it has proved to be, being judged the only five-star wine in our Pinot Gris tasting. All three judges gave the wine rave reviews. Ant said it was fleshy, with peachy aromatics and a creamy rich palate. It was quite dry, ‘with a lovely finish,’ he added. Rod noted nice musky aromatics, a good balance of flavours and good persistence. Meanwhile, lemon notes were there for Simon, who considered it bright, fresh and juicy. ‘There was nice fruit,’ he said, and the wine was soft and well-made" Wine NZ Magazine

"A lovely rich style, this Alsace-inspired pinot gris shows wonderful ripe aromas of yellow peach, baked pear and ripe citrus with nuances of floral and spice on the nose. The palate delivers fruit concentration and excellent mid palate weight, beautifully enhanced by rich texture and integrated acidity. The finish is superbly long and silky. At its best: now to 2020" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2015

Beautiful pale white gold in the glass. A strong textured Pinot Gris with citrus blossom and stonefruit aromatics, and a lovely minerality. This wine shows great density, with texture and a well balanced finish.

Vines have been grown in the Gibbston Valley, Central Otago since 1976. It was one of the areas in the region that Italian based viticulturist Romeo Braggato first predicted, in 1895, to be of great potential for the production of Pinot Noir. After experimentation in many different microclimates in the region with different grape varieties, it was found the alluvial soils of the Gibbston Valley together with the Pinot Noir grape produced some of New Zealand's finest Pinot Noir.

The grapes were handpicked on May 1st, whole bunch pressed and settled for 48 hours then cool fermented in stainless steel to preserve natural vibrancy.

Makes everything look so much clean
got these mostly to deal with all the random cords around the house, and they made a bigger difference than I expected. They’re simple, but they actually do what they’re supposed to. Once everything is tucked inside, it instantly makes the area look way more organized and less cluttered. I’ve been using them for things like power strips and extra cords, and they hide everything really well. They’re lightweight but still feel sturdy enough, and the lids stay on without being annoying to open. Pros: Really helps clean up the look of messy cords Easy to use, no setup needed Simple design that blends in Cons: Not huge, so larger power strips can be a tight fit Plastic isn’t super thick Overall I’d definitely recommend these if you’re trying to make a space look cleaner without doing anything complicated.

Great Space Saver!
I purchased these for our family room charging hub and honestly wish I had known about them sooner. They are sturdy and very kid proof (at least for my kids). I love the push and lift design so little hands can’t just lift it open and they hold a lot yet blend in.

Handy boxes hides wire clutter.
Does what it is meant for. A bit hard to open once the top is fitted.

Clean, secure cable management
These are good cable boxes that close securely. They hide cables very well and look clean and blend into the home well.
