"Brightly fruited and elegantly lifted, the bouquet shows apricot, rockmelon, sweet strawberry and crunchy apple notes, leading to a delectably expressed palate that's light and refreshing. It's juicy and lingering with youthful delicious flavours" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2021

This pretty light-peach coloured Rosé has the most enticing bouquet of red apple and cherry, watermelon, fresh strawberries and honeydew. A juicy, rich palate warmed with flavours of strawberry shortcake, and focused by well-balanced acidity.

Winemakers were incredibly lucky to be granted permission to create these wines during the global pandemic crisis. For this reason, the 2020 wines carry some very unique memories. The 2020 growing season was very dry, which meant disease pressure was low and some timely light rains kept just enough water flowing in the rivers. A classic Marlborough autumn with warm days and cool nights, which created this season’s wines with Babydoll's signature fresh natural acidity and intense fruit flavours. Overall, the grapes had a luxurious ripening time, allowing flavours to fully develop while maintaining natural balance. This resulted in a Rosé that is filled with lifted aromatics and a beautiful concentrated mouthfeel.

Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir parcels were individually harvested over a period of three weeks. The fruit was destemmed and then gently pressed. The juice was cold settled for 48 hours then racked prior to a long fermentation in stainless steel tanks to capture bright, fresh fruit characters. Each parcel was fermented separately with a range of yeasts to build complexity and structure. The parcels were blended to add complexity and a pink hue, then stabilised and filtered prior to bottling.

It’s the little things in life that count and it’s the littlest sheep that help make Babydoll wines. This sustainable collection of wines are pure and intense with plenty of character, just like the Babydoll sheep we named them after. These tiny sheep keep the vineyards tidy year round because they’re too small to reach the grapes. Using one of nature’s mowers means these wines are better for the environment and taste better too. Celebrate life’s little moments with Babydoll wines.

Food Pairing: Try it with some creamy goats cheese, a light Summer salad, or your favourite shellfish.

Suitable for vegetarians, vegans and a gluten free diet.

A message of unity
Format: Hardcover
The Celebration Place is a vibrant picture book highlighting diverse cultures and people worshipping God in a variety of glorious ways. This inclusive book portrays vocal artists, indigenous groups, and a person in a wheelchair in praise of a God whose presence reaches around the globe. The book’s message rings clear: when God’s people assemble in love, the church is a celebratory place. The back matter prompts further conversation. Children and their caregivers will want this important book in their hands and on their shelves. This honest review is based on an e-advanced reader copy from the author and publisher.

Beautiful book!
Format: Kindle
What a wonderful book! I read this with my son and we loved the beautiful illustrations that depicted so many different people groups. Though we are in a season where I know of so many who are experiencing “church-hurt,” The Celebration Place gave a glimpse of at least one church where all are welcome and where people don’t have to leave their ethnicity, style, or even age at the door. The energy just leaps off the page and creates a genuine sense of celebration!

An Invitation to God's Future
Format: Hardcover
I loved this little book. It is wonderfully illustrated, faithful to the eschatological vision of unity in Christ, and invitational. While not all churches today are mulit-ethnic or multi-national, that's the future, when Jesus culminates his saving work. Why not live today in light of how things will be in eternity?

Beautiful depiction of diversity AND inclusion
Format: Hardcover
This book is very inspiring and hopeful. As a person of color I love seeing the possibility of what church can look like if we welcomed and celebrated peoples’ uniquenesses. The illustrations are beautiful and there is so much joy in the words, and I’m excited for my child to grow up seeing this as the “norm”.
