We spent the next year and a half developing twin discs using COPPERMIX. This makes the SUPER COPPERMIX TWIN the culmination of three and a half years of testing and development. It is the ultimate model in the NISMO multi-plate clutch series. Features: Allowable dynamic friction torque measured at 84 kgf・m (static friction: 143 kgf・m) Can handle an estimated power of 670 ps Using a center hub increases the engagement surface between the clutch disc and the serrated section of the transmission's input shaft. This lowers the overall pressure on individual splines. It reduces wear to the input shaft and prevents disengagement problems. Having a center hub also makes installation easier than for single clutches by eliminating the risk of damaging the splines or misaligning the 2 discs during clutch assembly. The ideal weight for maximum torque was obtaine by using a lightweight flywheel manufactured from specially crafted chromemolybdenum high carbon steel. The flywheel is provided with a special aluminum cover with exceptional heat-radiating properties. The center plate is equipped with a strap function*1 that also prevents any problems with disengagement. This mechanism leverages the reaction force accumulated by the strap plate to cause the pressure plate to onstantly move away from the disc. It is employed as a standard part in manual transmissions and is installed in all production vehicles. Meets the Specifications for VW TDI
Size: 1 Quart Pack of 6
I don’t get too excited about motor oil; it just needs to meet the specifications for the application. This oil meets the standards for VW TDI engines (VW 504.00 & 507.00) and several other European turbo diesel engines. While this type of oil is locally available, it is very costly if purchased locally by the quart. There are plenty of other brands like Liqui Moly and Mobile One that offer oils which will meet the specifications, so pick the one you like. After some research, I found there are no great deals in terms of cost, all of the oils that meet the VW 504.00 & 507.00 specifications are going to be on the expensive side. However, Castrol is the brand used by VW, so if that’s important to you, there’s your option.
I have used this type of oil for several years and many thousands of miles with zero issues. If you do your own maintenance, you might as well save a little money and buy in bulk. Storage and shelf life of motor oil is not a concern.
