Note: Archival storage envelopes should not have center seams. Localized pressure on the seam will usually fall in the center of the contents and over time may cause damage.
- Constructed with double edge seams; this design ensures that envelopes stack perpendicular rather than in a fan shape, which can occur with conventional envelopes
- Seams are bonded with pH-neutral adhesive; outside seams provide a smooth inner surface
