There is a tray on top of this model for storing your dog's travel necessities like a leash and toys. Drainage plugs are included to make cleaning the box a breeze, and it's made of super durable lightweight plastic.
Our Half Box Range
The DT 500 Half Box is part of our range of half boxes which are perfect when you are transporting only one large or medium dog or in some cases two smaller dogs. The half box range are single compartment box options and half the size of their traditional double compartment counterpart boxes.
The half boxes are ideal when you need the boot space for other things and also want to take your dogs on the road with you. The are very popular with gun dog owners, people who like to go on staycations and people who only have one dog or two smaller dogs.
The DT-500 is very light and therefore are easy to take in and out of your vehicle.
They offer all the same great benefits of the larger boxes but are smaller in size than the double compartment models which offers great flexibility to the owner.

This is a very popular choice for all pick up truck, van and Land Rover Defender owners. It is a versatile box and fits many other vehicles also.
Design
The box is made from a super tough lightweight plastic which makes it easy to lift in and remove from your vehicle meaning you don't have to sacrifice boot or truck bed space when your dogs are not travelling with you. The plastic is anti shatter and very durable making it a very safe box for transporting your dog.
The box is also ergonomically designed with easy lift handles to make it easy to fit and remove the box from your vehicle.
The plastic construction makes the box very comfortable for your dogs especially when compared to cold wire cages. The solid base and sides provide maximum comfort and support and safely contains your dog whilst being transported. For additional comfort for your pet vet beds are an available add on and ideal for use with the DT 500.
As the box is easily removed, it also allows for ease of cleaning. You don't have to wash the box by hand inside your vehicle, simply remove the box, release the drainage plugs and hose down the box. It couldn't be simpler.
The plastic frame is leak proof ensuring no moisture from your dogs seeps out into your vehicles interiors which gives you peace of mind when taking your dogs out on a wet day or out for a swim.
The DT 500 comes with a lockable stainless steel door as standard. The door design allows for adequate light and ventilation and allows the dog to see out.
The vent holes on the side of the box can double as tie down points if you need to secure your box additionally and can be used with our tie down straps. Tie down straps are also available as an additional extra and are ideal for use with this box. They are quick and easy to apply.
This model also features a top tray for storage ideal for keeping all your dogs accessories, such as leads and toys, to hand.
