Highland Blanket Knit KitThis blanket uses the famous Shetland lace stitch pattern known as "Old Shale", a beautifully graceful knit design. The colorways feature our new Maple yarn color, with Silver and Natural U. S. Organic Cotton; and our new Sherbert yarn color, mixed with Doe and Natural U. S. Organic Cotton. The Old Shale stitch is in multiple of 18 stitches and four rows.

• Size US 7 (4.5mm) 32-40" (80-100cm) circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge.

• 36 sts of Old Shale (2 pattern repeats)=6 3/4" (17cm). Unwashed and unblocked
• 26 rows of Old Shale=4" (10cm). Unwashed and unblocked
• 36 sts of Old Shale (2 pattern repeats)=6" (15 1/4cm). Washed and blocked
• 30 rows of Old Shale=4" (10 cm), Washed and blocked
