"Once again Jules Taylor shows her proclivity for making fine wine with this example. Aromas an flavours of dark plum and balck cherry fruit set against a backdrop of barrel spice, baking spice and stony mineral qualities. A dry wine touches the palate briefly before the flavours and textures of baking spice laced red berry fruits race to the fore. Fine polished tannins and acidity set the structure of youth firmly in place. Well made (naturally) with best drinking from 2026 through 2033+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Sep 2024

Violet, poached plum and stewed tamarillo notes overlay darker hints of blackberry and vanilla compote. The nose is completed by lovely smoky, earthy spice and hints of cocoa and cinnamon from the French oak barriques. Generous and juicy on the palate, this Pinot Noir has an elegant structure embracing a beautiful balance of berry fruit and savoury flavours. Smoky oak and firm, spicy tannins leading to a long, dry finish.

Growers had to be alert and agile through the early 2022-23 growing season to protect vines and avoid the disease threatened by the regular rainfall. A month or so prior to harvest many in the region were bracing themselves for a tricky harvest. And yet… As so often happens in Marlborough, Autumn weather saved the day. Marlborough dodged the tropical storms that devastated NZ’s North Island. Loose bunches kept the fruit dry and clean, and early concerns over disease did not eventuate. Healthy canopies kept the vines in good shape to ripen their grapes and develop delicious flavours in a harvest that was somewhat slower and later than usual. The condition of grapes arriving at the winery was truly fantastic. The slow ripening period had concentrated flavours which were ripe, layered and balanced by juicy acidity. Harvest went very smoothly, and Jules was able to breathe a sigh of relief, and then smile with anticipation as she tasted the wines in tank and barrel.

The grapes for this Pinot Noir were grown organically and biodynamically on the Wrekin Vineyard which lies in Marlborough’s Brancott Valley. Positioned on northwestern facing slopes, set in deep clay soils, this charming little vineyard was carefully managed to provide a very low-yielding, highly concentrated crop of quality Pinot Noir clones: Abel, 115, 10/5, 667 and a smidgeon of 114. The bunches were hand harvested in early Autumn, then de-stemmed into small open top fermenters where they were cold soaked for six days. The wine was then fermented with indigenous yeast. Delicate hand plunging during fermentation ensured gentle extraction of tannins and colour. After some time on skins and extended maceration, the wine was pressed into a combination of new and old French barriques where it underwent a full malolactic fermentation. After ten months in barrel, the wine was blended, given a light egg white fining, then aged for another three months in barrel, before bottling.

Food Pairing: Exceptional with most red meats, try it with this recipe for bbq lamb cutlets with beetroot skordalia and black garlic. It is also great with mushrooms or eggplant dishes.

GREAT CONCEPT AND DESIGN
I bought these Feminine Balance Gummies because I was intrigued by the approach that was utilized. For me, I have been involved with lactobacillus formulas and probiotics with incorporating yogurt (the really healthy kind not the ones with a lot of advertising) to deal with yeast overgrowth. Typically I am experiencing a problem because I am consuming too much sugary foods (causing the body's resources to be depleted) or because I have taken a course of antibotics which killed both the good and bad bacteria in the body and now needs replenished. So, my first impression was the intrigued by the use of Pineapple as a part of the formulation, which is unusual but a good choice nonetheless because it is very beneficial for digestion and also for pain reduction. I liked the taste of the gummy, it tasted like Pineapple candy. The inclusion of Vitamin C seemed a bit of a stretch and is included to enhance the immune function. There are lactobacillus strains but the manufacturer has kept the strains used as a proprietary secret - which I find a bit frustrating as a consumer. Whatever it is, there is a billion of them (is this per gummie?). The manufacturer does support the use of vegan only products, it is also "clean" Halal, it is gluten free and allergen free. So, it appears they have carefully considered the inclusion of each ingredient for benefit. So here is the real test, yes, I have had the desired outcome by improving my "lady garden" and this is a very viable product in my opinion. I would recommend it to others.

They are hard to chew
Gummies are old and hard, still tried them cause I want a fantastic kitty and it actually did the opposite. It’s been itchy and irritated with every that comes in contact with it. I never had a problem down there but now I do. It’s a no go for me.

Tasty, Easy‑to‑Take Gummies for Daily Feminine Balance Support
I picked these up because I wanted a simple, vegan option to support pH balance and overall feminine wellness, and these gummies have been really easy to add into my routine. The Hawaiian pineapple flavor is surprisingly good—sweet without being artificial—and the texture is soft and easy to chew. I like that they combine multiple areas of support in one: healthy odor, flora balance, and immune support. It makes them feel like a well‑rounded daily supplement instead of juggling multiple bottles. They’re also non‑GMO and vegan, which is a big plus if you’re trying to keep your routine clean.

Tastes Great, But More General Wellness Than Targeted Feminine Support
I tend to prefer gummies over capsules whenever possible, so these Yalei 4-in-1 Nuora Feminine Balance Gummies caught my attention as a potential replacement for my usual women’s probiotic. The bottle contains 60 gummies (30 servings), with a formula centered around vitamin C, pineapple fruit powder, and Bacillus coagulans (1 billion CFU). The ingredient list is clean and clearly labeled, and I appreciated that it’s free from common allergens like soy, dairy, gluten, and tree nuts. The outer and inner tamper seals were intact. The manufacturing and expiration dates were also easy to read, which is something I always look for with supplements. Taste-wise, these are genuinely enjoyable. The pineapple flavor is pleasant, not overly artificial, and there’s no lingering aftertaste. The texture is firm without being sticky, which makes them easy to take daily. Honestly, these fall into that category where it’s tempting to eat more than the serving size. Where things became more nuanced for me was performance. I switched from a more targeted women’s probiotic that included specific Lactobacillus strains and additional D-mannose and cranberry support ingredients. Within about two weeks of making the swap, I experienced a UTI flare-up, which led me to go back to my previous formula. That experience made the difference in formulation stand out. My prior supplement included strains commonly associated with vaginal microbiome support along with additional complementary ingredients, whereas this product uses a single Bacillus-based probiotic strain. From my experience, this felt more like a general wellness probiotic gummy rather than something formulated for more targeted feminine health concerns. That doesn’t make it a bad product–it just depends on what you’re looking for. If your goal is a simple, good-tasting daily probiotic with light supportive ingredients, this fits that role well. If you’re specifically trying to maintain balance in more sensitive or recurring situations, you may want something more specialized. The brand also includes details like GMP manufacturing claims and batch testing which adds a layer of reassurance, though it does appear to be a newer brand. At its current lower price point, I do think it offers decent value for a general-use gummy. For me personally, though, I’ll be sticking with a more targeted formula moving forward.

Probiotic fruit snacks
Disclaimer: vine review of an item I requested free* These taste great, just like fruit snacks. I've gotten a lot of gummies from this brand and haven't found a bad one yet. Pineapple isn't even a flavor I usually like, but these taste good. Somehow they're always sweet with no weird aftertaste without having added sugar. Not too sticky, it doesn't leave residue on your fingers, but they do sometimes stick together. Mainly I got these to have some fruit snacks to eat, but the probiotics are a nice bonus and now I can pretend I'm being healthy when I eat my candy.
