Fill the compartments with desired wood chunks, place them over the burn pot, and watch as your pellet grill produces clean, blue, stick smoke. Due to the additional heat produced from the wood, you may need to crack the grill lid to maintain your desired temperature. After the wood has burned completely, the cover can be closed.
