- The shaft is designed with cross head on one side and CVD head on the other side. The cross head is installed towards the front gear box and the CVD head is installed towards the middle gear box. The gap between the middle gear box and the main shaft is quite small. Therefore the use of CVD head can avoid friction between the head and the middle gear box as CVD head is smaller in size.
