‘Philoxenia’ means to welcome a stranger. It’s a message that pervades Greek culture and cooking. Chapter by chapter, A Seat at My Table: Philoxenia unfolds incredible meals drawn from this powerful philosophy, as well as from the love, hope and resilience that represent Kon’s own grandparents’ survival as refugees. Learn to make the dishes that line a mezze platter, including fresh tzatziki, golden saganaki and cheese-filled zucchini flowers, or veganize heavier dishes, such as moussaka and spanakopita. There are ample salads to serve up for lunch, highlighting everything from Ancient Greek grains, zucchini and artichoke to goat’s cheese, fig and pomegranate, as well as mouth-watering desserts (think Greek classics, such as loukoumades and baklava, as well as Greek-style coffees). Every vegetarian recipe includes instructions to make your dishes vegan or gluten-free. You’ll even find tips on minimizing waste and gardening, courtesy of Sia, and Kon’s father, Leo.

Awesome accompaniment to the games!

This book is a huge win for my daughter! She loves it. She's playing through all the Assassin's Creed games and always tells me how the game graphics and story correlate beautifully with the book images. Accurate information that coincides with the games. Quality binding and pages. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is a fan of the franchise. This makes an excellent gift.

Assassins Creed The Essential Guide

Pretty big book with a lot of Assassins Creed lore and info. Definitely worth the money for hardcore AC fans like me. I have played and replayed all the games and this book still taught me things i didn’t know which is great. Book is made of high quality pages with great pictures. Overall im super glad i picked this up.
