Kantha is a traditional stitch done in West Bengal where line after line of thread is stitched across the length of a recycled saree material. Our Kantha Quilts are 6 layers of recycled saree. Unlike our Kantha Throws where the front and back of the blanket are made of one piece of saree, the front of our Kantha Quilts are pieces of 3 coordinating sarees machine stitched together. The back is a 4th coordinating saree. Our women meticulously sort through piles of sarees to find just the right ones to use for these beautiful quilts before stitching and layering them up to send to the women who will kantha stitch them. These quilt are great to use as a blanket or covering on twin, full and queen beds. They are not only unique and colorful, but they are amazingly soft and empower the women who make them to help support their families!

Breaking it down
Format: Hardcover
The authors do an excellent job of breaking the Bible down and explaining it in a way I have not read before. It is sectioned out starting with Genesis and rolling through the books breaking down the main points of each one. It displays how each builds on each other and uses a unique approach to categorizing each book or books.

Very appropriate level of detail
Format: Paperback
New to orthopedics? This book is a must have! The pictures are simple, yet contain enough detail to learn information needed to perform at a professional level. The book does a great job at stepping through the anatomy. It hits all the major conditions and does so in a way that is very easy to understand and retain. Highly recommend this book!

Concise, broad, and conceptual overview
Format: Paperback
I read this book before my first Orthopaedic rotation as a fourth year medical student and it was a superb introduction to Orthopaedic Surgery. It is very concise and well written, and introduces key concepts and fundamental principles of Orthopaedics. As most medical students know, the best learning on clerkships comes from reading about clinical situations as they come up in real life. That said, its always helpful to have a brief introduction to the field before beginning a rotation and I thought this book had the breadth and focus on concepts to be a perfect introductory read since my medical school has little to no coverage of common MSK conditions in the curriculum. More depth can always be found on Orthobullets and in textbooks and the primary literature, but it's helpful to have a broad overview to start out.

Amazing review but falls short in comprehensiveness
Format: Paperback
Felt lost while going into Ortho Sub-Is, but this book was a great quick review before going into them. It served well to give context to the field, but definitely not enough for a thorough review for sub-Is. If you are not in medical school, this book might be more apt for you. Overall, love the cartoon and definitely helped me some questions right on intense pimp sessions.

Med school orthopedics (basic orthopedics) presented in an easy to understand format.
Format: Paperback
This book is well written and easy to follow. I'm a fan of this publishers "Clinical Pathology Made Ridiculously Simple," and I found this book to be similar in presentation. This is a good book for Medical and PA students during their orthopedic didactic curriculum, and as a review before an orthopedic rotation, but it's a little too basic to be the only book you read during your orthopedic clerkship (for clerkship, I recommend also reading Case Files Orthopaedic Surgery). This is a good book to review orthopedic concepts for board exams. It's also a good book for primary care residents and primary care mid-level providers who want to brush up on ortho.
