This one is long overdue. Presenting Into It. Over It.'s "Covers Collection Vol. 1"
What we have here is every cover song IIOI has ever recorded and released between 2007 and 2024 on a 2xLP set.
Originally, the idea was called Covers Cassette and it was released on.. ahem.. cassette by Cassanova Cassettes in 2010.
The original tape release featured 4 cover songs mostly recorded at home or on the road using a voice recorder or a mobile 4-track. The bands covered in that original set were Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right BA Start, Archers Of Loaf and The One AM Radio.
Since then, there has become a not-so-small collection of cover recordings spread across multiple places. Some digital, some vinyl, some on CD, all of which are pretty much out of print or very very hard to find. We put it all together and have sequenced the material for optimal playback. We have remastered the songs to sound like a very intentional collection, although I think it feels like listening to 52 Weeks which I'm sure many of you will appreciate.
The entire package is rounded out with very Chicago centric artwork care of Ryan Russell and Andy Hendricks. All of the photos were shot during the same trip Ryan was here shooting the layout for Proper.
