Numerous techniques have been used to make this workwear environmentally friendly, from using 40% GRS recycled polyester and 60% natural bamboo fibre, which decreases the amount of virgin material used, to using an extra durable 50-wash certified stretchy reflective tape, meaning this top lasts longer than traditional garments. To further improve this, DuPont Silvadur, which is an anti-bacterial treatment, allows the top to be worn longer between washes without developing bad odours.
Other features contained within this hi-vis polo shirt include mesh underarms for added ventilation and a UV protection factor rating of 40+, offering maximum protection from the sun during summer months. This UV protection extends over any part of the body the top covers, making the long-sleeve version a better option for those in exposed locations. A contrasting grey knitted collar not only improves comfort but helps hide staining that could otherwise be highlighted against the bright colour of the top.
