The byACRE Carbon Ultralight is the world's lightest rollator — 10.6 lbs of carbon fiber engineering that goes anywhere you do, without making you feel like you are dragging equipment behind you.

Most rollators weigh 15–20 lbs. The Carbon Ultralight weighs 10.6 lbs. That difference is felt every time you lift it into a car, carry it up a step, fold it at the gate of a flight, or simply push it across a parking lot. For Southwest Florida riders who travel frequently — snowbirds flying north, cruises out of Fort Myers, family visits across the country — this is the rollator that makes travel practical rather than an ordeal.

The frame is carbon fiber — the same material used in aerospace and performance sports equipment. Five times stronger than steel, yet lighter than aluminum. byACRE has won the Red Dot Design Award, the IF Design Award, and the German Design Award for this rollator. It is not just functional. It is genuinely well designed.

What Makes the Carbon Ultralight Different

Hidden Brake Cables

On every standard rollator, brake cables run along the outside of the frame — catching on doorframes, snagging on clothing, and making the walker look like medical equipment. byACRE routes the brake cables entirely inside the frame. The result is a clean, uncluttered line that looks nothing like a traditional rollator and catches on nothing. It is the detail that people notice first and appreciate every day.

Forward-Facing Ergonomic Handles

Standard rollator handles point outward — which pushes users into a stooped, forward-leaning posture that strains the back and shoulders. The Carbon Ultralight's handles face forward, positioning the user inside the frame rather than behind it. Walking posture improves immediately. Back and shoulder strain reduces. The handles are also shaped to feel like holding a hand rather than gripping a bar — comfortable over hours of use, not just minutes.

Shock-Absorbing Carbon Frame and 8-Inch Soft PU Wheels

The arrow-shaped carbon frame is not purely aesthetic — the dynamic shape diverts terrain shocks sideways rather than transmitting them straight up through the frame to the handles. Combined with 8-inch soft PU wheels with a 1.5-inch thick rubber layer, the Carbon Ultralight absorbs sidewalk cracks, cobblestones, grass, and threshold transitions that would rattle a standard aluminum rollator. Southwest Florida sidewalks, parking lots, and plaza entrances are genuinely smooth to navigate.

Folds in Seconds — 9.8 Inches Wide When Folded

A soft lift of the seat handle folds the rollator completely. When folded it measures 26 × 9.8 × 31.5 inches — narrow enough to fit in virtually any car trunk, slide under an airplane seat, or store in a closet without dominating the space. It arrives fully assembled. No tools, no setup.

Choose Your Size — Compact, Regular, or Wide

The Carbon Ultralight comes in three sizes. Handle height adjusts on all three models (31.1" to 35.8" in 1.2-inch intervals). The differences between sizes are seat height, seat width, and overall frame width — which affects both sitting comfort and how easily the rollator fits through narrow doorways.

byACRE's own advice: most people prefer the Wide model. The Compact and Regular are narrower than most standard rollators. If you are in any doubt, choose the larger size.

Compact Track

Lower seat · Narrower frame · Best for slim and shorter users · Tightest fit through doorways

The Compact has the lowest seat height and narrowest frame of the three models. It is the right choice for shorter users or those with a slim build who want the rollator to feel proportional to their body. The lower 22-inch seat height suits users who are shorter or who find a standard-height seat too high for comfortable sitting and standing. The narrower frame navigates tighter indoor spaces more easily — but the seat is also narrower, which means getting in and out requires more hip flexibility. If you sit frequently and have a wider build, the Wide is the better choice.

  • Overall width: 24.2 inches
  • Seat width: 16.1 inches
  • Seat height: 22 inches
  • Weight: 10.6 lbs
  • Handle height: 31.1" – 35.8" (adjustable)
  • Weight capacity: 285 lbs

Regular Track

Standard seat height · Standard width · Best for average-build adults · Fits most doorways

The Regular is byACRE's standard model — the one most adults fall into when sized correctly. The 24-inch seat height matches standard chair height and suits most adults comfortably for sitting and standing. Slightly wider than the Compact, it is still narrow enough to navigate most doorframes and indoor spaces without difficulty. If you are between the Compact and Wide in terms of body width, the Regular is typically the right choice. It is the model that most users who are new to byACRE rollators start with — and most are happy with it.

  • Overall width: 24.6 inches
  • Seat width: 16.5 inches
  • Seat height: 24 inches
  • Weight: 10.6 lbs
  • Handle height: 31.1" – 35.8" (adjustable)
  • Weight capacity: 285 lbs

Wide Track

Widest seat · Most seated comfort · Best for wider builds · Recommended by byACRE as most popular

The Wide has the broadest seat of the three models — 18.5 inches — and byACRE reports it as their most popular size for good reason. For users who sit frequently during walks, the extra seat width makes a significant comfort difference. Getting in and out of the seat is noticeably easier when your hips have room. The 24-inch seat height matches the Regular. The wider frame takes slightly more space through doorways, but fits comfortably through standard residential and commercial doorframes. If you wear bulky clothing, carry anything around your waist, or simply prefer not to have to "salsa" into the seat — choose Wide.

  • Overall width: 24.2 inches (slightly narrower overall than Regular due to frame geometry)
  • Seat width: 18.5 inches — widest available
  • Seat height: 24 inches
  • Weight: 10.8 lbs
  • Handle height: 31.1" – 35.8" (adjustable)
  • Weight capacity: 285 lbs

Size Selection Guide — Which One Is Right for You?

Choose This Size If You Are: Seat Height Seat Width Weight

Wide Wider hips, sit frequently, wear bulky clothing, want easiest seat entry — most popular 24 inches 18.5 inches 10.8 lbs

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
