Circa the cusp of the Victorian and Edwardian eras, this 14k gold Gypsy ring contains a beautiful Old Mine Cut diamond flush mount seamlessly into the ring. The ring has a slight flare to it, making it a wider, curvier version of a gypsy ring. The diamond is set in a circle of platinum that emphasizes the contrast between the white of the platinum metal and the gold, adding elegance to the design. The Old Mine cut has a squarish, oblong shape with high tables and an open culet in back. The beautiful diamond has a lot of sparkle that pops against the 14k gold. Circa 1900, this is an early use of platinum, which came into fashion for the first time in the Edwardian era.

The diamond is 5.6 x 5 mm, approximately .7 of a carat. It is K in color and SI1 in clarity.

The ring weighs 8.3 grams. It is a ring size 5.5 and could be resized.

The ring is pictured here with a contemporary version based on the original design, created as part of Kirsten’s Corner Signature Collection. The contemporary ring is also available for purchase in our shop.

Great Reference
Format: Hardcover
The book provides a complete, high-level overview of Project Portfolio Management (PPM). As the title suggests, it covers both Portfolio Management and Project Management. The book is a great reference for PPM concepts. I personally found the first few chapters of the book very interesting, because it talks about portfolio management in a different manner than what you would read in other books such as PMI's The Standard for Portfolio Management. The book has been written in an easy-to-read style and it provides pragmatic ideas on how to best help an organization manage their portfolio, using concepts such as: Anchoring, superior estimation, batch vs. ad hoc prioritization, one portfolio or many, private collection of information, winner's curse, innovation vs. improvement projects, accounting vs. project management, etc. In short, the book is a recommender for all PPM practitioners!

Great introduction to work management
Format: Hardcover
I am not an expert in project or work management and found this book really useful and readable. Moore does a great job of looking beyond standard project management terms and frameworks and helps re-frame project management as a strategic, not a tactical concern.

Nice update
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I really like this version of a practice test. It covers pretty much all the topics I wanted to learn more about (like math related) and the fact that’s it’s current for this year is great. I didn’t want to practice with old information. It also has a well-structured approach to mastering the digital format. I feel like it properly prepares you for the actual feeling of doing the test. My favorite thing has to be the mini test. Sometimes I think I’m ready for a test but end up realising I still have a long way to practice so it’s great to have a tool that helps with that. Just overall, its practice is very reasonable so as long as you take the time to really take advantage of this book, the SAT will be a breeze.
