At the race circuit, high level of friction can be achieved along with high stability for an extended amount of time with the heat treatment. _x000D_ The 6 slots brake disc is adopted as standard in the HS type by considering various factors, such as pad wear,squeal and the removal effect of gas at the fading Compatible Vehicles:. | Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ 12 slots version (HST type) is available as a special order. the surcharge of 12 slots is JPY6,000 (w / o tax). _x000D_ our processing of the rotor, the above package we have shipped in. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. works, just not the strongest magnet.
magnet will hold a drill but anything much heavier it will start to slide. have on e on fridge, 2 on safe and on on garage cabinet. fridge and safe hold the least, i guess due to plastic over magnet and coating on the safe and fridge. cabinet does best but still will slide with any significant weight. holds my drills ok however.

Not worth it
These things suck the screw in the middle keeps falling of by just moving the thing from one place to another I already lost two screws that fell apart and with it the magnet. Very dissapointed I wouldn’t waste my money
