Description

Angus The Bull BLK+BLU Heathcote Shiraz Cabernet 2023 (Australia)"Richly ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows dark fruit intensity, cake spice, game, subtle tobacco, and cedar characters. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and plump mouthfeel, together with plush texture and fine grained tannins, offering terrific drinking. At its best: now to 2035" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Feb 2025 "Expressive nose of ripe cherry. Mint and wild herb. Coffee and cocoa tannins complement the palate. Lovely fruit

"Expressive nose of ripe cherry. Mint and wild herb. Coffee and cocoa tannins complement the palate. Lovely fruit intensity" International Wine Challenge 2025

"In some ways a throwback to a different era with its use of 100% American oak. But it works well. The fruit is rich and dark with a slightly liqueur cherry flavor complemented by the sweet oak flavours. It's soft and plush with plenty of vanilla essence and spicy characters evident. It comes from Heathcote, so the distinctive ironstone minerality complements the lush fruit rather well. Cellar 9 years" Ray Jordan

"The nose displays aromas of jammy and ripe dark fruits with some floral character and lovely oak. Charming velvety tannins" Decanter World Wine Awards 2025

Inky purple red. Bright fleshy youthful palate with an abundance of warm/rich fruit. Succulent raspberry and black cherry flavours, a touch of pastille with a hint of mint and the classic signature eucalyptus of Heathcote. A brooding and indulgent combination of black and blue fruits gently easing into textural slippery tannins. All wrapped up in a sweet core of attractive coconut oak and baked spice.

The 2023 vintage will be remembered in Heathcote for its "La Nina" weather conditions accompanied by higher than average rainfall early in the season. Harvest was completed under unusually cool conditions resulting in a late ripening vintage with low yields and superb quality.

Sourced entirely from the Ellis family vineyard. These vines are planted on the prized ancient red Cambrian soils of Heathcote (said to be among the oldest soil in the world—over 500 million years).

The shiraz fruit was first to be harvested, followed by the cabernet several weeks later. Both parcels fermented separately on skins in stainless steel for a period of 14 days. Pressed, blended and then transferred for maturation in 100% American oak.

Good fit
Color: Light Grey, Size: Medium
A nice vest and a true slim fit. Good quality for the price and no satin back, the material is used for the whole vest, allowing it to be worn without a jacket and still look smart. I am 6' 3" and 200lbs with a slim build, the Medium size fit like a glove, snug but not tight as a waistcoat should be.

Good Fit, Fold Lines
5'9, around 125-130 pounds, and the Small fit me just fine. Adjuster strap provides a great range of... adjustment. Good waistcoat if you are looking for something quick and cheap. With it being cheap, however, the material suffers. Due to it being folded while in shipping, there are seem lines going down the sides of the waistcoat which make it poke out and look awkward.

Great vest for a great price!
This vest is more slim fitting, stylish, & flattering than many vests. It fits as expected, but it is adjustable in the back, so you do have some wiggle room to tighten & loosen it if you’re unsure about the size. My son wore this vest to homecoming. He is 5’ 10” & 150 lbs, & the size small was a good fit.

Great Quality Vest
Great quality vest versatile for all occasions. I personally felt it ran a bit tight (I ordered a large and felt like I was sucking in a bit the whole time) but I think an XL would have been too big. Overall impressed and happy with purchase.
