Sizing is a challenge we aim to solve pragmatically.
Standard sizing scales are often unreliable because they don’t reflect the actual body circumference. Most garments are measured flat on a table, and brands tend to make them smaller to create a “feel-good factor.” For example, a size 26" can have a true circumference anywhere between 27" and 29"—sometimes even more. While it may be flattering to fit into a smaller size, it’s not helpful when ordering online and needing your shorts to fit snugly on stage.
To ensure the most accurate fit possible, we’ve measured the actual waistbands of our shorts all the way around. We highly recommend setting aside what you think you know about your usual size and instead measuring your hip line exactly where the shorts will sit. Then, select the corresponding size based on that measurement—regardless of what the label says. This way, your shorts will fit like a glove on stage!
