Best drinking from day of purchase through 2028+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Dec 2025

"The nose opens with Riesling florals and lime zest, then eases into pear skin, soft peach, and a whiff of dried ginger. There’s lees-led warmth underneath, like baked apple and pastry, adding depth without heaviness. The palate is taut and structured, mirroring the aromatics with a clean, mouth-watering line of lemon pith acidity. Creamy mid-palate weight carries into a lightly textural, dry finish. Medium-bodied, finely layered, and quietly serious, with each variety playing its part" Sammy Wilkinson, The Wine Writer

CPR is Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Riesling harvested from our home vineyard and blended to create this special aromatic wine with taste sensations of limes, peaches and pears. This wine shows balance, structure and intensity reflecting the integration of the three varieties.

Established in 1996, proudly family owned and managed, Borthwick Vineyard produces wines that are a direct reflection of the Gladstone region, New Zealand. Ancient stony, alluvial soils, a cool climate, sustainable practices and minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery, mean our wines display distinctive single vineyard characteristics.

The vineyard has been planted progressively; the Chardonnay and Pinot Gris and Riesling vines are now ages between 9 to17 years old and are a mix of clones. The younger vines are on lighter soils and tend to give us very tropical aromas and softer acidity, whilst the older plantings give us good palate length, structure, and fruit sweetness.

The growing season for the 2024 vintage saw an early budburst with high growing degree days resulting in an earlier than usual harvest. 2024 provided a long dry summer and resulted in a harvest that allowed us to pick the grapes when fully ripe and in optimal condition. Fantastic flavour across all the white wines and intense colour in the reds.

The harvested fruit was picked at three different times and gently pressed over an extended period to allow slight skin contact. Settled and inoculated in tank with a variety of yeasts for a long slow cool fermentation to retain vibrant aromas. The wine was stirred and blended after 5 months on lees.

She LOVES this ball
Style: Small Ball, Size: 1 Count
Our dog likes toys, but this ball is now her favorite ball. She even took it to bed with her last night. Our dog is 65 pounds, but she likes smaller toys so I ordered the small ball. It’s a good size. It’s nice and soft and squeaks. She seems to kills the squeaker right away, but she didn’t with this ball. It seems to be the least amount of money I’ve spent on a toy for her and it’s her favorite. I ordered another one just to have on hand. This toy is a great bargain!

Not Durable Enough for a Dachshund to be Left Alone With (Updated)
Style: Small Ball, Size: 3 Count
I just received these balls today and got one out for my daughter's Dachshund. She loved it for about 15 minutes and then gnawed a huge chunk out of it. It was in the garbage within 20 minutes of receiving it. I'm not even going to give her the other ones. We had an issue once before where she was chewing on her Kong and swallowed some pieces. It messed up her digestion for quite a while. Not taking the chance with these balls. Too bad because they have nice bounce and good squeak. She was thrilled with it until we saw that she ruined it and we quickly took it away from her. If you have a Dachshund or other aggressive chewer, I'd look for something else. UPDATE - I've bumped up the rating by 2 stars, changed the review title, and ordered another set. We found that we can't leave the dog alone with the ball, but if we use it to play with her, we can monitor when she starts to aggressively gnaw at it. So now, it's more of a fetch ball and we've taught her how to stop gnawing it and drop it for another chase. They still give in to her sharp little teeth more easily than other toys, but she really loves them and gets so excited when we get one out. It's easily her favorite toy, and who doesn't want to see their pup happy?! It's definitely not a chew toy, but it's been great as a fetch ball. If you go into it with that understanding, you and your pup will both be happier with the product.

Our Dogs Are Obsessed. The Squeak Is Intense.
Style: Large Ball, Size: 3 Count, Style: Large Ball, Size: 3 Count
BLUF: Our dogs absolutely love these — the squeak is loud enough that we sometimes have to take them away. --- Our dogs went crazy for these the moment we opened the pack. They’re durable, super bouncy, and easily became the new favorite toys in the house. The only thing to know is that the squeak is loud — like “I need to take this away for a minute” loud. But honestly, that’s probably why the dogs love them so much. Great value for a 3‑pack and perfect for pups who enjoy a good squeaky toy.

A great toy for any dog!
Style: Small Ball, Size: 1 Count, Style: Small Ball, Size: 1 Count
The Hartz Duraplay ball is great! My 4 1/2 yr. old Pug has never liked playing with them before. He has gone crazy for this ball. He has no trouble grabbing it with is mouth. He ever gets it to squeak with his feet. I think it’s a great dog toy. Excellent!

Great Value and very durable
Style: Small Ball, Size: 1 Count
Very durable! We have purchased this for our new lab puppy. Highly recommend them. We have bought them before for our retrievers and it has been one of the longest lasting toys they own. Which says a lot because toys get torn up fast in our house. Definitely a good value and the material is easy on their teeth. Also it keeps ours busy for a while.
