"Varietal and savoury with a core of fruit and decent level of intensity showcasing the core of fruit then fine peppery qualities. Aromas of black cirrant and spiced plum, there’s a savoury spiced meats and leather quality then  wood spices with a light smok quality. Flavours are reflected on the palate with firm youthful tenmsion from tannins and acdity providing the foundation for ageing. Still taut and new, but packed with flavours of dark fruits, some meats and barrel spice complexities. Well made ith readiness from drinking from 2023 through 2029+" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Feb 2022

Deep and vibrant ruby color. Plenty to get excited about on the nose! Classic cool climate Syrah notes of black pepperand clove spice with dark liquorice and mineral/Tar scents. Nice oak adds some class. Palate is youthful, vibrant. Full bodied red wine with plenty of rich flavor. The tannins areripe and smooth but most certainly present, in a very positive fashion, on the finish, which is long and flavour filled. Really nice drinking already. Really opens up in the glass over an hour or so. Decantingrecommended. Will be a very long lived wine. At its best from 2025 onwards.

Winter came late with August and September cold and wet. Jack Frost paid a visit with acatastrophic event occurring late spring resulting in heavy losses across the region. Wewere not spared, Eclipse vineyard was struck across the blocks closest to the terraceedge, losses estimated around 30%. High rainfall returned in November negativelyimpacting on the flowering stage, reducing crop levels significantly and makingmachinery work extremely difficult. To put it mildly; a highly challenging spring.
Summer was hot and relatively dry. Harvest was earlier than usual with perfect weatherfor picking. In the end excellent quality fruit was harvested albeit in small quantities.

Hand harvested at Blue Rock Vineyard on the 21st of April from Highfold B block, thesteepest slope on this elevated North facing vineyard. Planted in 1997. All bunches were de-stemmed directly into a three ton open topped fermenter. Everyeffort was made to preserve as much “whole berry” as possible. This, along with the useof cooling helps to ensure a slow onset of full fermentation allowing the native non–saccharomyces yeasts time to perform an initial ferment before the stronger, moredominant native saccharomyces yeast strains take over and complete full alcoholicfermentation. We grow a few rows of Viognier at Blue Rock which is harvested at thesame time as the Syrah. Once the juice is pressed off the Viognier skins are added to theSyrah ferment. Total maceration time for this vintage was between 20 – 30 days beforegentle pressing. All press fractions are included in the final blend. Once the wine had settled in tank for three or four days it was transferred to French oakpuncheons for maturation. Malolactic fermentation completed naturally during the winterof 2020. In total the wine spent 12 months in barrel. New oak in the finished wine isaround 20%. The only additions were sulphur dioxide post malo followed by a small topup prior to bottling. Bottled Unfined and Unfiltered.

Food Pairing: Drink with red wine braised beef cheeks and pomme puree. Be great with a firm cheese as well.

They work! Even if you hate socks
I am not a sock wearer. Can't stand having my foot entirely shrouded in cloth. I don't wear socks with my sandals, slides, clogs and other shoes most of the year. Only on the coldest winter days. I know, It's weird. So, with my sock phobia one thing that happens is your heals get dry and rough. I opted to try these because the toes are free. I barely notice the socks on my heels/ankles when my toes get air (outside of bedcovers always). I put good thick lotion on my heels and sides of feet. A little less on the toes so they don't stain anything. The silicone lining on the heel holds that lotion against the affected areas. In a couple days my feet felt soft and looked pretty. No cracks, no white roughness. They look pink and freshly spa-ed. Fit is good on size 9 feet with thickish ankles. Highly recommend.

Nice Socks, Bad Shipping
The socks are definitely worth the price. They are cozy and non constructive. They colors are nice. My only complaint is the method in which it was shipped. Slapping a mailing label on a clear bag is not acceptable. The shipper didn't consider protecting my privacy. I hate to think if it was something extremely private. Consumers deserve better when it comes to the content of their mail.

There’s room for improvement
These heel support socks are quite comfortable to wear, the cotton blend fabric is soft and breathable. The built-in gel continuously moisturizes the heels, and the effect is more noticeable than applying lotion alone. I usually soak my feet in warm water before bed, apply lotion, and then use these socks. The elasticity is just right, and they don't constrict my feet. If the gel coverage area were a bit larger, the protection would be more comprehensive. Overall, they offer good value for money and are a practical foot care item.

They worked
I got these for my elbows because I think I might have eczema on my elbow. They work very well. However I do wish they were a little looser. As far as putting them on your heels, the fit works well.

Good Results
I have always struggled with dry, cracked heels, but I’ve finally found a solution that keeps them consistently hydrated: these special socks with a moisturizing silicone lining on the heels. My heels now feel incredibly soft, but it’s important to note that consistency is key. Wearing these socks every night before bed has made a significant difference. It’s not enough to just wear them once and expect results; you have to be diligent and make it a part of your nightly routine. After a few weeks of nightly use, my heels are much softer and no longer cracked. What I love about these socks is how easy they are to use. Just slip them on before going to sleep, and the silicone lining does its magic overnight. By morning, my heels feel smooth and well-moisturized. For anyone struggling with dry heels, I highly recommend these socks. Remember, the secret is consistency. Stick with it, and you’ll see the difference!
