The 1" PTFE-lined stainless steel uniball that can be found in ICON upper control arms is a high-quality component, but its location on the vehicle leaves it vulnerable to all of the elements you may drive through including dirt, water, sand, road salts, etc. Always looking to make good things even better, ICON engineers took the uniball cap concept featured in our Billet Upper Control Arms and arrived at the easy-to-install and affordable solution that is the ICON Uniball Cover Cap Kit. These 6061 billet aluminum caps were designed exclusively for ICON tubular upper control arms and feature extremely durable 3M neoprene adhesive rings that attach them to the uniball cup. While our caps don't make our arms invincible to normal wear, they do a great job of extending the service life of the uniball by keeping the elements out that are usually attributed to premature PTFE-liner failure. The kit includes one pair of caps and two pairs of adhesive rings so that uniballs may be serviced regularly. Horrendous, Even for a Required Textbook
Format: Paperback
Normally reviews aren't necessary for school textbooks. They're required. You're buying this whether you want to or not. However, I feel I need to take a moment and record how awful this book is. It's sexist, unhelpful, and is written as if the authors are talking down to a reader. You can't even complete the exercises after reading the chapters, and the book provides no answers if you were to try. I learned nothing from this text, except that women are smart and healthy and men are sick and stupid. These are stereotypes texts can easily avoid. Instead, this text sought out those stereotypes, going out of its way to reinforce them. Textbooks should put readers to sleep at worst, not actively insult them. And to be clear, this isn't about the fact that women live longer. This complaint concerns that every single example in the text that concerns a sickly individual uses a male pronoun, and every example in the text that concerns a healthy individual uses a female pronoun. The sexism grows from there. Textbooks have to try to be this poor. In that regard, and that regard alone, this one succeeded.
If you're about to take a class that requires this textbook, reconsider your life trajectory. Something is going wrong.
Also, and this is petty, but the comics made for this textbook are probably the worst I've ever seen. The art is so poor it's not even funny. My dog could do better.
