Our Norton Aluminum Oxide (AO) White Wheels are made of granulated aluminum oxide with a vitrified white bond that permits the grains of abrasive to wear off, thus providing a consistently fresh grinding surface. Sharpening is faster with less danger of taking the temper out of the tool. This 6"-diameter, 150-grit wheel comes with bushings to reduce the arbor hole to fit 3/4", 5/8" and 1/2" shafts. 6"-diameter wheel is also available in 60-grit (163277) and 100-grit (163278).

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
