Designed for early grades, kindergartens, and home studios, this higher-quality paper supports confident mark-making while standing up to real use—scraping, layering, erasing, and revisiting work again and again.
Both sides of each sheet can be used without bleed-through, making it especially practical for children, beginners, and classrooms where experimentation matters. The weight strikes a sweet spot: substantial enough for chalk, graphite, Indian ink, and wet-on-dry watercolor, yet still responsive under the hand.
Rounded Corners for Flow & Ease
The softly rounded corners are more than a visual detail. They help prevent bent edges, reduce wear over time, and subtly encourage a sense of openness on the page. The shape feels inviting and intentional—supporting freedom of movement as lines, colors, and forms take shape.
This paper is particularly well-suited for sgraffito techniques with Stockmar wax crayons, allowing children to scrape and reveal layers without tearing the surface.
