Marlboro Yellow Discus is the selectively bred variant of the Marlboro Red Discus. The process is meant to create a new strain with the yellow coloration not only distributed in the face areas but the whole body as well. Thanks to it, Marlboro Yellow Discus have appeared and soon become one of the favorite species of the Discus-keeping community.

As a variant of Discus fish and a member of family Cichlidae, Marlboro Yellow Discus are famous for the distinctive disc-shaped appearance, and regarded as quite difficult to care for, yet once successfully, the fish become the pride and joy of those aquarists who possess them. The reason behind the advanced care level mainly lies in Discus’s size and high demands for living conditions. Although they are mostly captive-bred species, Marlboro Yellow Discus still incline to tropical environments. They prefer dwelling in calm water flows with abundant live plants around. Warm and clean water are still the key factors for the survival of Yellow Marlboro Discus. More importantly, their big size with a distinctive disc-shaped appearance, despite highlighting the aquarium, increases the difficulty of care level by impelling the aquarists to pay more attention when setup and maintenance of the fish tank.

Nevertheless, if you grasp some key points, keeping the Marlboro Yellow Discus is not as hard as you’ve imagined.

  1. Big size, big tank: If your fish are large, then your tank should be large, too. The average size of Discus fish is about 6 inches (above 15 cm). And, they often live in groups of six specimens. Hence, you may need a 75-gallon tank in the least for this case. Also, be aware of the pecking order issue as it is often established among Discus fish.
  2. Water conditions: Appropriate water temperature and clean water are two main issues when it comes to living conditions of Discus. Make sure your tank imitates the tropical areas characteristics (you could refer to our suggestion below), and the water change process is well performed regularly (30% per week). Given its large size, Discus eats a lot and disposes of the comparative waste. Thus, performing water changes diligently helps filter their waste out and return the clean conditions for them to thrive in captivity.
  3. Semi-aggression disposition: Try to reduce their aggression level by providing sufficient ample spaces and live aquarium plants to hide them from each other. Discus will be happier and surely appreciate such additions.

Natural and safe
The soap is very nice and lathers well. I got a box filled with different scents. My favorite is the oatmeal lavender. The other scents are not exactly what I would go for. But they are fine. I would prefer coconut or eucalyptus. I like that the soap contains all natural ingredients and no harsh perfumes.

Good price & variety
I ordered this just before Christmas to give away as gifts and gave one to my bf as well. All the scents were strong and I enjoyed them. My boyfriend and I used the one that I gave him (patchouli scent with the scrub) to test it out. It was very exfoliating. It didn’t bother us, maybe we got a good batch, or just have skin not as gentle as others. It felt similar to a sugar scrub. For the price, you get a good amount and variety of this soap. I might get another box just for myself. If you check the ingredients they are actually very simple & natural, not full of parabens or random chemicals that you can’t even pronounce.

Nice soaps!
After visiting Colorado and trying real goats milk soap we have yet to find anything we liked as much. On a whim I purchased this pack. My husband and I both like them very much. As much as we like to shop local it’s been hard to find what we wanted. We will definitely purchase again. We like the scents, the natural exfoliators and the softness it leaves our skin.

Very good bars of soap collection.
My wife doesn’t like the liquid soap because a lot of them say detergent and she says she’s not a dish or a piece of clothing. So this set looks really appealing with a variety of fragrances and scents. It will last you a while. The size of each soap bar is the average size of soap bar. It lathers very well, while being soft on the skin and ganking dirt and odors like it does it’s basically a steal.
