Originally released in 1998 on Century Media Records, Rising captures the Atlanta-based band's unmistakable blend of ultra-heavy, down-tuned guitars, Bonz's hardcore rapping, and the relentless energy of guitarist Rich Ward. Remastered by Rob Colwell for Brutal Planet Records' Metal Icon Series, this vinyl edition revitalizes the raw intensity and grit of each track.Rising took rap metal to new heights, fusing brutal grooves reminiscent of Machine Head, Slayer, and Pantera with the rebellious spirit of Rage Against the Machine. Every song pounds with thick, groove-laden riffs supporting Bonz's fierce vocal delivery. This reissue also includes the bonus track "Suburban Ranger," adding even more punch to an already aggressive lineup.Rising didn't just make noise-it made cultural waves. The music video for the title track, featuring WCW legends Diamond Dallas Page, Raven, and The Flock, became a staple on WCW Monday Nitro. This is an absolutely incredible throw/blanket, especially for the price. Beautiful neutral color that will go with any decor. I own four Lola blankets at over $299 each (gulp) and these absolutely rival that brand in both quality and overall value. The faux fur/mink feels exactly the same for both brands. The only visible difference is that the back side of the WDCOZY brand is lined in a different material which also has a great quality feel and texture to it, very luxe. I've already ordered several more for Christmas gifts and for our AirBNB. I photographed the WDCOZY on the left comparing it to the Lola on the right. You can see how much fluffier the WDCOZY brand is. Highly recommend!
