Also includes an all-but-immaculate example of the publisher's slipcase, also in its laminated pictorial boards. An uncommon, thoroughly-researched examination of the Beatles' catalogue on Capitol Records.
"The Beatles' Story on Capitol Records opens in 1964 with the release of "Meet The Beatles!" and moves forward through 1967's "Magical Mystery Tour." Here is the real story behind the Capitol LPs, with explanations of why Capitol reconfigured the Beatles albums for the American market. For each album, the book provides session and chart information and pictures of the front and back covers, all label variations, trade advertisements, promotional posters and displays. The book offers the most comprehensive coverage ever on the infamous butcher cover to the "Yesterday And Today" album, which was judged so offensive that it had to be recalled and destroyed. It also provides full details regarding the recording and marketing of "Sgt, Pepper's Lonely Harts Club Band." Also included are chapters on the albums issued by Capitol's Canadian and Mexican subsidiaries and a complete breakdown on the stereo, duophonic and mono mixes used by Capitol. Contains over 600 color and original black & white images.

Easy to install. Sturdy enough for 2 large rambunctious kitties to play on and look very nice. I was working on a vertical play space for the cats and since these come in many sizes it worked great. I did add grip tape to some.

The shelving unit was not as I had expected. It arrived damaged. The damage is on the under side though. They are hollow and not hardwood as I had expected. Save your money if you want something of good quality. These are like 3 pieces of pressed wood glued together. They are space saving and look great in my space. The mounting hardware it comes with was plenty enough to hang these but make sure you hang them in the studs if at all possible. Assembly was simple. It does come with a micro level. Which a kid or pet could accidentally swallow. It’s like pill capsule sized so just be careful when opening the package.
