Accurate Fuel Gauge: Enjoy the benefits of increased fuel capacity without sacrificing gauge accuracy. The S&B tank is designed to keep your fuel gauge functional, showing full for the first 5-7 gallons and then continuing to function normally. Note that the distance to empty will still reflect the original 24-gallon capacity, meaning at 20 mpg with a full 45-gallon tank, you could have up to 940 miles to empty, while the vehicle indicates 480 miles.

Part # 10-1032 is a shorter 40 gallon tank and will work for 170" Crew Vans and vans with plumbing behind the tank
Important: The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap). Please call S&B, send a message with your VIN, or consult with your installer to confirm if your van has J51.
When using the auxiliary fuel tap on stock tanks, tap stops pulling fuel around 1/4 tank. With the S&B Tank, it will stop pulling fuel around 1/3-1/2 tank.
