Extreme Primer plus is a high-strength water based two component primer for the installation of our Microcement floor or wall and shower systems. This product will tenaciously adhere to non-absorbent substrates, such as ceramic, quarry and porcelain tile, terrazzo as well as wood subfloors and non-water-soluble adhesive residues on concrete. All substrates must be structurally sound, solid, thoroughly clean and free of dust, dirt, oil, wax, grease, asphalt and any other contaminant that might act as a bond breaker. Extreme Primer plus is a two-component unit that consists of two 2kg containers: Part A (liquid is white in color) and Part B (white powder). Mix the two components together in a 1:1 ratio plus up to 1 part of water for a paint consistency or with just enough water to make a plaster consistency for installation of Armour joint tape. The coat of primer should be very thin while maintaining 100% coverage. Do not leave any bare spots. Back roll with a dry roller to remove excess primer. Allow primer to dry fully and test adhesion before proceeding.
