Reproduction of Chalkboard Map of the World by Sue Schlabach
Sue Schlabach — "Chalkboard Map of the World" is a compelling example of contemporary graphic design that synthesizes cartographic tradition with minimalist aesthetics. The work aligns with a broader movement in modern art that reinterprets functional objects—here, a world map—as decorative and conceptual art. By employing a chalkboard-like texture and a monochromatic palette, Schlabach draws upon the historical legacy of hand-drawn maps while subverting their utilitarian purpose. The composition is structured with a clear, centered arrangement, emphasizing balance and order, with the grid lines and labeled oceans forming a subtle yet deliberate visual rhythm. The use of negative space enhances the legibility of the continents and reinforces the artwork’s clarity. The high contrast between the white lines and the dark background creates a striking visual impact, reminiscent of early 20th-century modernist design. Schlabach’s technique evokes the tactile quality of chalk on a slate surface, bridging the gap between digital precision and analog craftsmanship. In its simplicity, the piece reflects a cultural shift toward minimalism in interior design and visual communication. The work is not merely a representation of geography but a symbolic meditation on connectivity, exploration, and the human desire to map the intangible. It resonates within the tradition of conceptual art that values idea over ornamentation, positioning the map as both a functional tool and an artistic statement. The subtle signature in the corner, a hallmark of the artist’s practice, underscores the work’s authenticity and handcrafted nature, distinguishing it from mass-produced reproductions. As a result, "Chalkboard Map of the World" occupies a unique space where historical cartography, modern design, and conceptual art converge. For more art by Sue Schlabach click here.

Xylimelts work...very very well..finally moisture to my mouth for longer than anything i have tried
Size: 80 ea
i have xerostomia...this is a dry mouth due to radiation treatments...I have minimum saliva. I must sip water or a liquid with every bite of food.
When i talk my mouth quickly dries and makes it difficult to speak......I have tried many....many different sprays, gels, etc. etc. Along came Xylimelts and it has been the best thing for me to date. It does add some moisture to my mouth and the great part is that it lasts for a very long time. I use the mint free only because my dry mouth is more sensitive to certain tastes. I once used Biotene and now i stay away from all of their products.....Biotene was around a while and marketed their product and had become very popular....Glaxo Smith Kline ( the big drug company that only cares about their profits over our health) purchased Biotene and had altered the product for the worse and they have done this with other products. They actually removed beneficial ingredients and replaced them with poor ingredients....Here is just one example: Xylitol was in one of their products ( Biotene toothpaste) when they purchased the company from Biotene. Xylitol has beneficial qualities and they replaced it with the Cancer in Laboratory rats ingredient called Sacharin... They have removed other ingredients as well...I stay away from any product from Glaxo Smith Kline. I have my own personal boycott and that means I no longer buy their Tums as well... Yes...They played their games with Tums also.....so i just do not buy their products.
Xylimelts does work for me...very very well. It adheres to the gums above my teeth and it just stays there adds moisture to my mouth. Obviously i recommend this product

I'd rate them 5 stars if only I'd had them to use over the last two decades!
Size: 80 ea
A couple of years ago my dentist and hygienist told me about Xylimelts, which I promptly ordered and appreciated as soon as I used them. After suffering teeth problems due to meds for years, it's too late for me to save my uppers -- dry mouth had decayed my teeth, even with plenty of hydration, good dental hygiene and wonderful dental care (when I didn't put it off a few times, sigh...), and I’m about to get dentures :( .
I started out putting two in my mouth at night, but that seemed to be a bit much -- they'd cause me to drool and stain my pillow (washed right out!) Mostly out of concern for the cost of Xylimelts, I began putting only one in my mouth at bedtime. This has worked well for the most part, though some nights I still wake up with a dry mouth, and sometimes put in another one. This could be due to allergies though, my nose is often stuffy as I sleep. However, two would probably prevent this from happening.
I tried the non-mint kind first, then accidentally ordered the mint kind once, but I prefer the non-mint flavor. It’s got no real taste, and that suits me fine. By the way, it does take 10 seconds to adhere them, but if you are not comfortable with that spot, you can move them to a better one without them losing their “stick” to the outside of your teeth or gums.

These are fantastic!!!
Size: 80 ea
All I can say is, "WOW." I've been fighting terrible dry mouth since going on cpap three months ago (my mask covers nose and mouth). My machine has a humidifier but that wasn't helping at all, even when turned up so high it was raining in my mask! The first nite I tried these lozenges it was like a gift from the angels! I used two, putting one on each side as per the instructions. It was a little weird sticking them to my molars at first; they didn't seem to want to stick but finally took hold. I also had to kind of adjust them so they didn't get knocked loose when I closed my jaws. But once they were in place they worked like a charm. I don't find the taste at all objectionable. It's kind of a very, very mild mint. I will *definitely* order these again. If you fight dry mouth, these are worth trying even though they're on the expensive side. They aren't as expensive as dental work if they end up protecting your teeth from cpap-induced cavities!
UPDATE - my oral hygienist told me that CPAP users often begin to develop cavities and other dental problems from using the device. She said that the use of xilitol, which is in these lozenges, night help stave off such problems. Here I am, after years of CPAP use, and I have had no dental problems other than a lost filling! These lozenges are a lifesaver!

It works well but uncomfortable
Size: 80 ea
I take blood pressure pills that dry my mouth out. The inside of my lips feel burned from being so try overnight. It's uncomfortable. I discovered these tablets and thought I'd give them a shot. I am struggling with them. I don't have a large mouth and these have to sit inbetween your gums and your lip or cheek. They are bigger than I would like. Plus they kind of hurt my gums. You're supposed to put them in place, wait ten seconds so they stick and then there is no further instruction other than they work for several hours. Do we just leave them in place all night because the uncomfortability makes it so I can't sleep easy. I also wear a nightguard on my top teeth to keep me from grinding. I love Xylitol, I bought some to use in my coffee in the day time so that part is a great thing. I just can't get past how uncomfortable it is to have them fixated in your mouth all night. One last thing... you're supposed to put two in. I did that the first night and it was like... NOPE. I let them sit for 5 minutes like it says and then I just dissolved the rest in my mouth because no way could I leave them in place and sleep. The next night I just used one on my bottom gums. It was still uncomfortable. If they could make them smaller, it would be way easier. Other than that, the Xylitol does work and my mouth isn't nearly as try when I wake up in the morning.
