In "Poetry in Motion II," I aimed to capture a peaceful moment in the African wilderness. I started with the leopard, lying calmly on the ground, its sleek body relaxed yet alert. The tree beside the leopard became a key part of the scene, its trunk and leafy branches providing a sense of shelter and depth. The lilac-breasted roller, with its vivid plumage, brought the scene to life. The bright colors of the bird added contrast and drew attention to the quiet connection between the leopard and the bird, as if the leopard is briefly enchanted by the roller’s beauty. This moment reflects the quiet harmony of nature—a simple yet powerful instance where predator and prey exist together, each aware of the other, in a shared stillness.
