AL105 vs AL105L: The AL105 is heavier (~38 lb) but rated to 400 lbs and compatible with every Harmar outside lift including HD models. The AL105L is lighter (25 lb) but limited to 350 lbs and not suitable for HD lifts. If you have an HD lift (AL300HD, AL301XLHD, AL500HD, AL580-HDX, AL425HD), the AL105 is required. If you have a standard lift and prefer less weight to pivot, the AL105L is the right choice.
