Kundalini Smoky Citrine Crystal Cluster from the Lwena region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This large raw natural specimen is distinguished by its pineapple/candle formations, substantial size, and the rarity of its African source, with iridescent rainbows visible in bright light.
Formation & Geological Details
Crystallography and morphology: a quartz-family cluster with smoky interior tones grading into golden citrine at outward terminations, creating color zoning across the pineapple surfaces. It presents the distinctive pineapple configuration that defines Kundalini Citrine, with multi-facet terminations and a natural patina preserved by very limited handling. The specimen originates from Lwena, DRC—the only place in the world where this variety has been found. Very minimal natural damage is present, limited to a few points as pictured. The mining narrative describes a journey described in provenance notes, reflecting an untouched region where limited tools and hand mining helped preserve the crystal’s natural form.
