Le Piton Sancerre is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, grown on soils of Kimmeridgian marl and flinty clay. These distinctive soils are perfect for producing superior Sauvignon Blanc wines. Once the grapes have reached optimum ripeness, they are transported to the winery where they are first de-stemmed and then transferred to a delicate press. Fermented in stainless steel using indigenous yeast, and matured on fine lees for 9 months. 4-6 months bottle refinement before release.
