The semi-hollow maple body and top use a special lamination process and excellent tuning to further enhance resonance, frequency response and other acoustic properties; the GYS35's innate natural sound can handle different musical styles such as jazz, classic rock, pop and blues.

The fingerboard is made of high-grade rosewood, which is used in almost all brands of guitars.
