How PICO 7 Works

The system pairs a compact, battery powered NPWT pump with a soft, absorbent adhesive dressing. Once applied to the wound bed and secured with the included adhesive border strips, the pump draws air out of the dressing and pulls excess exudate away from the wound surface. This negative pressure environment actively promotes blood flow to the wound margin, reduces edema, and creates a protected, bacteria resistant microclimate that supports faster healing.
