And 2019 has been no exception – choosing just 12 episodes for this DVD from the 40 that went to air during the series has been very difficult. We’ve chosen stories that cover everything from the South Island high country to fishing in Foveaux and Cook Straits, farming goats in Northland to raising free-range pigs in Canterbury. Some stories are about preserving rural traditions, others explore innovation such as making a health drink from sheep’s milk and even milking deer.
We enjoyed meeting the people who gave their time to us while we filmed these stories and we know you will equally enjoy watching them.
