Engineered specifically for dirt bikes equipped with lower-output OEM stators, the XL40 draws just 43.5W-making it a powerful lighting upgrade without the large power draw. Paired with our signature XL Trail Lens, the XL40 produces both a vertical and horizontal beam pattern with exceptional near-field and peripheral visibility.
Designed for tight, technical singletrack, the Trail Lens redistributes center beam intensity to eliminate harsh hot spots, improving clarity through vertical transitions, quick elevation changes, and tight corners. The result is a smooth, evenly distributed field of light that inspires confidence in the most demanding terrain.
The XL40 LED Headlight comes pre-installed in a new KTM 17-19 headlight shell, making it a plug-and-play kit for easy installation. Every kit is backed by our 30 day satisfaction guarantee and Lifetime Limited Warranty, ensuring complete peace of mind on every ride.
NOTE: For Hi/Low functionality, you will need our KTM/Husqvarna Hi/Low Harness (12-9016). The Hi-Beam Indicator will always be on when used with our Hi/Low KTM/Husqvarna relay harness.
