D16 Spacerek 스페이스 리버브
d16 Group 에서 Spacerek 라는 신제품 리버브 플러그인을 발표하였습니다.
이 플러그인은 straight-up room modeling 이라는 개념으로 실제 공간의 물리적인 측정치와 virtual room 을 컴퓨터로 시뮬레이션하여 스캔값들을 병합하여 hybrid algorithm 으로 작동되는 리버브입니다. (물리적인 측정치 + Virtual Space Reverb simulation = hybrid algorithm)
이렇게 hybrid algorithm 을 사용하면 CPU 자원 소모를 줄이면서도 더욱 더 훌륭한 사운드를 만들 수 있다고 합니다.
실제로 공간에서 reverb tails, early reflections, density, late reflections, pre-delay 같은 측정을 정밀하게 하고 컴퓨터로 시뮬레이션한 수학적인 값들을 적용하여 자유롭게 변경되는 마이크의 위치와 공간의 크기, 벽면의 소재등을 구현된 가상의 공간을 재현하는 리버브 입니다.
리얼하고 직관적인 하드웨어 타입의 인터페이스도 인상적입니다.
그리고 3가지 크기로 인터페이스의 사이즈와 창크기도 손쉽게 변경할 수 있습니다. (Small / Medium / Big)
총 114 가지 Reverb Model 를 탑재하여 다양한 상황에 적용할 수 있습니다.
자체 내에 편리한 3채널 믹서가 있어서 direct signal, early reflection, late reflection 등의 값을 믹서에서 적절히 조합하고 발란스를 쉽게 만들어 낼 수 있습니다. 여기에 tilt equalizer 와 low-cut filter, 그리고 dry / wet control 등의 기능들이 추가되어 있습니다.
믹스시에 중요한 stereo or in mid / side mode 도 적용되어 있습니다.
