Historic Provenance
This design draws inspiration from an 18th-century German tilt-top table in The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ingeniously constructed, the original could rotate and tilt, allowing a host to serve tea privately without servants. Reinterpreted through Met x Eichholtz, the Roentgen side table translates that innovation into a contemporary statement of refinement.
