It is formulated with a unique combination of vitamins, minerals, herbs, and bioflavonoids to help support and protect normal hearing function. Bioflavonoids are a group of approximately four thousand plant pigments that give flowers and fruits their colors. Citrus bioflavonoids are flavonoids found in citrus fruits such as orange, lemon, tangerine, grapefruit etc. In the Hearing Health formulation, we utilize citrus bioflavonoids from bitter orange (citrus aurantium). Bioflavonoids possess antioxidants (molecules that inhibit the oxidation of other molecules), which protect the body’s cells from free radical damage, thereby fighting poor health and premature aging.
